Knock.Thrice x Stereoplasm Giveaway Prize

last falloween, i was beyond elated to find that i was one of the three random winners of a giveaway collaboration between Canadian indie perfumery Stereoplasm and indie crafter Norah Galea (a.k.a. Knock.Thrice on social media).

it was my first time ever winning a giveaway on social media, and i was super happy when i found out that my third place prize was a sticker of my choice from Knock.Thrice and 4.5ml of Norah's special scent The Autumn People (Grinning jack-o-lanterns, dripping red wax, fallen leaves, croaking mulch, shivering cardamom pods, a freshly hanged juju bag glittering in the rafters and an old page from the Witch's Almanac.) from Stereoplasm.

some backstory here - prior to going full-time on her own store Knock.Thrice, Norah was one of the sweetest and most awesome staff with Stereoplasm, helping to handle customer queries, packaging and orders. it's a real testament to the niceness of Canadian indies on how the two continued to collaborate even after Norah left Stereoplasm, and i'm a big fan of both of their work.

i decided to pick this lovely fox for my prize, and also took the opportunity to get a sticker trio of "The Gardener's Cottage" from Knock.Thrice to hitchhike on the shipping. Norah was kind enough to cover the remaining half of the shipping cost too, even though the package was traveling internationally!

Knock.Thrice's etsy is pretty standard as far as etsy pages go, with clear pictures and good use of the item labeling to make it easy to browse and navigate. i really love the hand-embroidered hats, paintings in Norah's trademark whimsical style and vinyl stickers of both the embroidered designs and artwork.

shipping is calculated separately at prevailing rates for international and domestic (Canadian) orders. my stickers (and giveaway prize scent) were shipped within 5 business days of my etsy order, which is a commendable turnaround time.

everything arrived in good condition, and it was all so beautiful that for the time being, i couldn't bear to open the envelope with my stickers inside. Norah had also included an additional little gift for me, of this beautifully embroidered witch riding a broomstick with her adorable bunny familiar.

the love and thought put into the package just shines through so wonderfully, and as far as indie creators go, Norah is one of those who displays such an infectious joy and passion for her craft. i'm so happy to see her success with this venture!

this review is of products that i had purchased at regular price with my own money, save for the specific products which were gifts / giveaway prizes as disclosed above. i wasn’t asked to review this as a condition of receipt and didn’t receive any incentives for writing this. i’m not affiliated with Knock.Thrice or Stereoplasm, and as always, all opinions remain my own.
