Sucreabeille - Honeycomb Collection Box

i received this honeycomb collection box as a gift with purchase (due to reaching the qualifying threshold spend amount of US$200 in my order) when i last stocked up on scents from Sucreabeille during their anniversary sale earlier this year.

here's a list of all the bee- and honey-themed goodness in this box (from left to right):
  • 1 oz sugar scrub in Beekeeper's Daughter (pure honeycomb, freshly harvested from the hive; a blooming herb garden full of clary sage, fennel, and thyme; peach blossoms and a touch of medicinal camphor).
  • 1 oz soap fluff in Black Honey (a blend of rich honeys, sticky, thick dragon's blood resin, beeswax, rosewood, a touch of patchouli, and vanilla absolute).
  • 1 oz buttercream lotion in Imperial Queen (creamy honey nectar, pink peonies, real ylang ylang, and peach blossoms).
  • 1 oz eau de parfum spray in Imperial Queen.
  • a collectible tin with 1ml samples of Black Honey, Beekeeper's Daughter, Firefly (honey, leather), Afterglow (dark chocolate, amber, honey) and Cream Tea (a blend of chai tea, burnt sugar, white musk, warm milk, and hot scones slathered with raspberry jam and honey).
  • 1 oz bottle of hair and body oil in Black Honey.

i like Sucreabeille's relatively-new concept of a collection box built around different themes each time. each of the scents included brings a different perspective to honey as a component while still remaining faithful to this common thread, so it's exciting to try similar scents from the house. it smells awesome and looks so pretty as a collection overall within my growing dragon hoard of scents.

that said, i was open to getting this because i've previously tried and loved most of their gourmands, including the honey notes - new buyers may want to be a bit more cautious about getting the collection boxes because there is some risk that if one scent doesn't work for you (and the cause turns out to be the common component in the box) then the entire box going awry could considerably sour your purchase experience overall.

also it's a bit of a pity that they don't keep the collection boxes around for purchase after the sale is over, even though the individual scents are still available in their general catalogue.
