i love love love cats and well, anything adorable. it's a sort of Achilles heel of mine.
so when i chanced upon TeeTurtle and their ginormous selection of adorable t-shirt designs, i couldn't help myself but squee out loud and soon found myself picking up a few gifts for friends (and early birthday presents to myself hee).
their website is well-organised and easy to navigate. shirts can be shopped by animal, interest or mood - and they have a superb variety available to meet any choice. their animal range includes bunnies, kitties, foxes and unicorns; and they have a whole selection of designs for any hobbyist, such as baking, crafting, fitness, reading, science, tabletop gaming and video gaming. the cutest though has to be their option to shop by moods - there are angry, caffeinated, hungry, introverted, nerdy, and sarcastic animals, though my favourite has to be the punny ones. plus, they also have designs inspired by larger fandoms (such as Disney, Pixar and Marvel) and incorporating their trademark wit and art style! it's really surprisingly easy to find something appropriate for most people, making TeeTurtle a great way to pick up gifts for friends.
i ordered a 'cats cats cats' shirt, an 'all you knead is love' kitty shirt, and a floral fox shirt for myself as early birthday presents (pictured) as well as a couple of other shirts as gifts for two of my close friends.
ordering was straightforward and international shipping was calculated separately at the prevailing rates. i ordered tracked international shipping for mine, which turns out to have come through DHL and offered status updates along the route. turnaround time from when i placed my order to receiving the shipping notification was a mindblowing 1 working day.
it was such a pleasant surprise when the delivery turned up, not in a standard mailer package but in a super adorable TeeTurtle mailer with a selection of designs on it in green. i almost couldn't bear to cut this one open to retrieve all the goodies (eventually i did, though from the back to preserve the entire front design). everything arrived in good condition, and i really liked how the shirts are soft and good quality too. definitely will be keeping them in mind for future purchases!
