i posted about my experience with the hair care products from kheimistrii a couple of days back, and wanted to share this photo to showcase the texture of their Honey Toffee, one of the most fun hair care products i've played with in a while.
the Honey Toffee is described on their website as "a thick, delicious confectionery, that emulsifies into a decadent, deep-conditioning lotion when applied to wet hair", with real pure grade A raw Texas clover honey being one of the ingredients.
it's thick and sticky like honey (or toffee, or treacle) in the jar, but when applied to wet hair it takes on a texture not unlike a creamy lotion that was easy to use (and rinse off when i was done).
and of course, it smells as good as its name, with a combination of rich, sweet honey and a handful of fresh herbs that lasted all through the 30 minutes i left it in my hair, the rest of the evening after and even well into the next afternoon. believe me when i say i absolutely could not stop huffing the fabulous honey-with-a-pinch-of-herbs aroma that wafted from my hair, and it was a welcome substitute to using other perfumes or scented products for the day.
it's a product that does what it says on the tin - apart from being a luxurious and fun self-care experience, i've noticed that i have significantly fewer strands of dry and broken hair now, and am shedding much less. truth be told, it's much pricier than generic mainstream alternatives, but i really love the fun of playing with this and the unparalleled scent experience it offers.
9/10 definitely a must-repurchase for me, notwithstanding international shipping costs.
