still continuing with the ocean week theme (this is fun!) today's scent «Tide Pool» is a beautiful reflection of the natural diversity and cool tranquility where land meets sea.
official notes: this is a fresh blend of salt air and beachy florals.
in the bottle and on application, this perfume brings together the best of both land and sea: the scent of soft flowers accentuated by the saltiness of an ocean breeze.
this isn't the rough saltiness of the open ocean or the turbulent spray of the waves on the shore. it's the calm peacefulness of a pool sheltered from the sea, with water so clear and still that you can see every minute grain of sand below the overlaid reflection of the azure sky above.
just like the flora and fauna of its namesake, «Tide Pool» is a subtle scent that appears tranquil on the surface, but offering a wealth of hidden experiences beneath.
oh, and no bottles were harmed in the taking of this photo - a testament to the resilience of Long Winter Soap Co.'s waterproof labels and strong seal of their rollerball caps.
7.5/10 a great summer scent that works for almost any occasion. «Tide Pool» has seen a lot of use as one of those "i have no idea what to wear today so let's go neutral-but-with-some-character" bottles in my collection, and i'm glad that i'd bought a full size of this one.

this review is of a product that i had purchased at regular price with my own money. i wasn’t asked to review this scent as a condition of receipt and didn’t receive any incentives for writing this. i’m not affiliated with Long Winter Soap Co. and as always, all opinions remain my own.
«Tide Pool» is available here (non-affiliated link). prices are US$10 for a 0.3oz rollerball (before shipping).
